Military Vehicle Component Design

The TAG team successfully completed a unique design of a suspension arm for a mobile artillery platform. The CAE design utilized aerospace materials (aluminum and titanium) and hardware, to meet stringent design criteria of high strength, low weight and durability. The arm had a complex design envelope to work in, and was required to swivel, and then lock in several different positions.



Hi-Speed Industrial Air Drill

Aerospace materials were successfully used in the design of a high-speed pneumatic industrial drill to meet criteria including hi-torque, high tolerance, lightweight and ready for manufacture. TAG also performed computational flow analysis (CFA) to validate the design.




Ship Hull Structure

TAG utilized NASTRAN aerospace standard modeling software to complete finite element analysis of a ship hull structure with a patented wave-piercing bow design. The 150 foot long supply ship was destined for use in the Gulf of Mexico oilfields.







Stainless Steel Equipment

TAG developed detailed production drawings for large stainless steel agricultural equipment, like this environmentally friendly mechanical waste digester system.




Dental Frame Industrial Design

TAG developed advanced surfacing for industrial design of dental frame equipment using aerospace standard CAD software - CATIA V4, which allows the use of aesthetic curves and surfaces difficult to manufacture without the use of such software.
